My aim is to capture an accurate representation of my surroundings and its atmosphere with a fluid brush stroke, I often start with thin paint, letting the light of the painting ground show through, I then build up the colours as I complete the painting with thicker paint. I enjoy the tactility of my materials, exploring all its physical attributes; I see no point in claiming the virtue of a photograph as the final result of my study. For me, photography is another art form that I enjoy exploring for other reasons.
